MOEV (http://www.moevinc.com) has developed software called MOEV AI™ for Transit Electric Bus Fleets that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Machine Learning technology to (i) Optimize transit dispatch operations, (ii) Manage electric vehicle charging, and (iii) Optimize Yard Management.
(i) We real-time information from telematics and third party data so as to accurately predict mileage for each bus and optimize dispatch operations by selecting the most optimum bus for each block every morning based on our AI predictions, and continuing to optimize dispatch operations throughout the day.
(ii) Our charging management algorithm minimizes the electric bill, improves reliability of charging operations, pinpoints the problem in case of charging malfunction, maximizes battery life and ensures that the vehicle has sufficient energy to service the block/route needs.
(iii) In the Fleet Yard, we determine the optimum charger for each bus, and schedule their departure throughout the day.
We have three customer installations - two in California and one in Maryland, and in addition have an ongoing pilot in California.
