PSI Repair Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc., provides a wide range of repair and engineering services, including life extension programs and custom-designed form, fit & function solutions, to the bus and light/heavy rail sectors of the public transit industry. We specialize in electronic repairs for critical propulsion and power systems (i.e. inverters and converters), fare collection systems and electromechanical components like contactors. Plus, PSI offers comprehensive support services for many legacy parts that are no longer supported by the OEM, including complex analog devices.
PSI’s ISO 9001:2008-certified facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment that can detect hard part failures down to the microchip level, as well as parts that have degraded due to stress. Plus, many PSI technicians are certified in IPC quality standards, such as rework and repair (2177), acceptability of electronic assemblies (610), and soldering (J-STD-001).
