Thermoformed components are what’s now and what’s next in public transportation. Lighter in weight than metal and fiberglass, plastic thermoformed parts are more durable, recyclable, and leave a smaller carbon footprint. Let us show you how incorporating thermoforming into public transportation design will lead to what’s BEST next for the industry.
The SPE Thermoforming Division is a chapter of the Society of Plastics Engineers, a nonprofit organization that unites plastics professionals worldwide – helping them to succeed and strengthen their skills through networking, events, training, and knowledge sharing.
Our mission is to facilitate the advancement of thermoforming technologies through education, application, promotion and research. Our board of directors is comprised of industry thought leaders who volunteer their time to advance the organization’s objectives and goals.
We fulfill our mission through the SPE Thermoforming ConferenceÒ, held biennially in September, our award-winning magazine, SPE Thermoforming QuarterlyÒ, and the presentation of grants and scholarships.
