Hyperloop One is building the next mode of transportation.

Hyperloop One is the only company in the world that has built an operational Hyperloop system and is now working with governments and engineering agencies to commercialize the next new mode of transportation.
In the Hyperloop One system, pods sized for passengers or cargo gradually accelerate using electric propulsion. The pods travel inside a low-pressure tube to eliminate aerodynamic drag and lift off the track using magnetic levitation to eliminate surface friction. As a result, Hyperloop One pods can operate at speeds upwards of 600 miles per hour, and glide quietly for miles with little energy required once they reach cruising speed. Here's a short video explaining how it works.
Unlike a train or a plane, a Hyperloop One system is on-demand. Passengers can leave when they want, with multiple departures per minute. A Hyperloop One network will be designed so there are no stops along the way: seamless, safe, convenient, and high capacity. You'll be able to travel from, say, Houston to Dallas in 25 minutes, or Miami to Orlando in 20 minutes, city center to city center. We're eliminating the barriers of distance and time.
